There's a reason why Gore and his buddies decided to release a movie about Global Warming right before Summer kicks off. Its really easy to "feel" like things are getting warmer in June. But its manipulations like that really get me concerned about the reality of this warming movement.

Another thing that concerns me is Gore said he's been giving this lecture for over 20 years. In 20 years time you'd think this epic disaster of his would have happened. Is the Global Warming boogie man always in the immediate future?

And then there's the fact that one volcano in Malaysia will put out just as much CO2 as we do in a year that gets me wondering about man's hand in this situation.

This person does not deal in facts, that is why it was not an option. Global warming is not just a liberal stupidity. It is a scientific fact, and Gore does a pretty good job in showing the truth.

The problem with debating global warming is that very few people want solid facts; instead, they want facts that fit their already-set opinions.

For example, here is a simple statement of fact:
"Greenhouse gases have raised the Earth's average temperature by less than previously estimated."

One group will look at that statement and shout, "See! That stuff about global warming was wrong! It's all a bunch of cr*p!"

Another group will look at the exact same statement and shout, "The Earth's temperature is still rising! Global warming is coming! It's all true!"

If people would put away their pre-conceived notions and look at things objectively, they might actually solve some problems.

I don't like it that the liberals got this one right...but we conservatives have to face the fact that they did.
Global warming is fact. It's here. I don't believe we can be certain that it is the result of anything man has done. It could be a natural occurrence. We must accept the fact there is definitely global warming.

Global warming is real and scary. But gore was in office for two terms and never spoke out on the issue, this could be a political agenda for 2008.

Or maybe several decades worth of scientific research, carried out by hundreds of scientists around the world?

The US is the only major industrial country that hasn't accepted the accumulated research and factual findings of the world scientific community. The US is the only country that refuses to look at the facts and the research and the proof that decades of scientiests have documented.

So, who's living the fantasy and who is being stupid?

It is people like you that are going to get us all killed.
One opinion doesn't mean that the scientific community is against the idea of global warming. You are using mutilated facts to support your own extremist opinion. You're as bad as Admenijahd and Michael Moore.

Global Warming is an issue. The debate comes in as to what is causing it. When they figure it out, I'm sure they will let us know.
