its not the age but maturity, preferably after 25 (best 25-35) and should have a stable good job, good qualification, no need being with his buddies full time, have enough money to support a wife when she has to stay at home with a sick child, preferably have enough money to buy a home.

I know some men who are totally irresponsible and still living with their mothers at age 35-40, and I know a man who studies very hard, got his on business, got married and had a child by 22 and was a wonderful partner/husband.

The age is individual, but personally I feel there is no Rush especially that a man should marry for life.. so stay single as long as you can and become somebody first. When you do, you for you will get a better girl.. like a priced horse.. the more you have the better horse you can get.

ps:

A new Gallup Poll shows that the average American believes 25 is the best age for a woman to marry and 27 is the best age for a man. Relatively few Americans believe that women should be married by age 21, a dramatic shift from a 1946 Gallup Poll. The median ideal age for women to marry has increased from 21 in 1946 to 25 today, while the ideal age for men has shown a smaller increase.

Let me stop you before you actually listen to anyone who answered this question.

There is no best age.

You're not any better off when you're 40 than when you're 20.

You have to decide when the time is right for you to settle down, and make a life for yourself. I personally got married 2 yrs ago @ 23, and now i'm a father of 2. Are there a lot of things i missed out on? Sure! Are there a lot of things I could have done that I can't now? You betcha!

Would I trade my family for anything in the world? HELL NO!

Now, with that said, think to yourself long and Hard, are you ready to devote yourself, and every day of your life, to your wife and children? If the answer is anything other than ABSOLUTELY, you're not ready!!!

Despite the poor spelling of 'married', there is no 'best age' for marriage. I have seen great marriages start in the early-twenties and horrible marriages start there as well. The optimal time is when you have 'experienced life' to at least some extent. Live by yourself, date a few people, go to college, land a full-time job you enjoy, pay off some of that college debt then maybe get married...
