Does anyone know who the villain(s) will be in Spiderman 3? I just saw the trailer for the first time and I'm not *really* familiar with the comic books, so I couldn't really tell. (It looks like Harry Osbourne will be one...)

The villians are Green Goblin (Harry takes over his father's bissiness), and Sandman. Venom won't be in this one, however the symbiote will. However, I don't like the way they did it. The symbiote's suppose to be his clothes. It forms to be any clothing the wearer wants. But in the trailer it show Peter opening his shirt and have the symbiote costume beneath. Plus some other things that you'll only really know if you've either read the comics or watched the cartoon. Yeah, I'm dissapointed in how the did the symbiote, except for when it attaches itself to Peter, which is the only time it looked cool in the trailer. But anyway, yeah, vemon won't come in until the end, like Harry finding the green Goblin stuff in the second one. Venom will be a if not the main villian in the 4th movie. Well, anyway, I've rambled on for too long.

Everybody is asking this question. I know three for sure: Sandman, who will be played by Thomas Hayden Church, Venom/Eddie Brock played by Topher Grace and Venom is sort of like anti-Spiderman, and Harry Osborne I hope will be the 2nd Green Goblin. But there's one villain that was rumored to be on there too, Chameleon, but I'm not sure. I've never read the comics either but I have a scattered knowledge of the Spiderman universe, enough to go around.

I think icefiresam is right. Venom will be shown mostly in the 4th movie. It makes sense to me since you already have Lizard, Hobgoblin, and Sandman as villians. How can Spidey fight 4 villains at once?! I think by the end Peter will be so consumed by his new costume he rids of it and a Venom is born which a great way to prelude Spider-man 4.

i assumed it replaced into 3 Carnage-as a result that black spiderman, that's extremely basically peter struggling with with himself Sandman- not greater needed and the golf green goblin suite is there, so it could be his son. And supposedly venom is in this?? So if thats good then that's 4

Avi Arad produces the movies and he is quoted with saying that Spiderman 3 will have 4 villians. he is either counting the bad peter parker in the symbiote or maybe the lizard might appear, or maybe wolfman. it would be sooo easy to include the lizard.

probably the Sandman or Venom; Green Goblin is dead so its not him unless Harry Osborne becomes Green Goblin 2. You know because the last you see of Harry in Spiderman 2 is him in that romm he found when he broke the mirror.

I didn't see the trailer, but they don't want to spoil the fun of who the villians are right now. It's all a guessing game.
