She made possum stew and at times her "medicine" and whatever else was running free in Beverly Hills.I don't think she ever had a permanent man but she did have suitors from time to time.

Granny cooked everything from Hog Jowls to making her own soap in that cooking pot, when she wasn't making her "rhumetis medicine".
Granny did have a few beaus during the course of the show, but was established as a widow in the pilot and never remarried, more concerned about finding Ellie Mae a mate since she was already "pushing 18 and old maid hood".
