I am pretty sure that Conservatives and Liberals do not hate America. We just see it differently. How about we get both sides to work together, instead of the majority bullying the other into submission. I think Conservatives need to think with open minds, not closed ones. But since that is not going to happen, the war was supposed to be only Afghanistan not Iraq. Iraq is killing my friends, and even they don't see a reason as to why they are there. I worry for my friends in the Army because there does not seem to be an end in sight. We are already losing the war, or do the deaths of soldiers, the murders in Haditha, the rise in terrorists, Abu Ghraib, and the NSA phone tapping not enough proof for you?

Another neocon, we Liberals do NOT hate America!! It is because we love our country that we hate when America is wrong about something. And in this case we are wrong. We support our troops,God bless them, but not this "war". The Iraqis were not involved with 9/11. Osama is a Saudi, most of the terrorists on the planes were Saudis and Osama hides in Afghanistan!! If he( Bush) had invaded Afghanistan we would have been behind him 100%. If he put sanctions against the Saudis until they stopped supporting the terrorists we would have backed him. But,gee, Afghanistan has no oil. And there was no profit in that country. Oh well.

Liberals are made up of people who think its cool to live off conspiracy theories. They claim the war is over oil but cannot show how $1 has been given to the USA from Iraqi oil, in fact their argument the war is costly is true, we are not profiting.

Then they drive off and enjoy their autos and pay less than other countries because of the hard work of oil companies. They hate big buisness but fail to realize most Americans pay a few % in taxes or get back more than they paid, while Buisnesses use their so called "loopholes" to maybe pay only 40%..


They hate American because they suffer from low self esteem. If a Dem was in office, many problems they whine about would still exist, they would still blame the Republicans.

The difference is we can imagine what would happen if Liberal agenda was realized and they cannot. The worst off, the wealthy Northeast Liberals.

How can we get fundamentalist conservatives to stop ignoring the Constitution?

Tell me how demanding the government follow the laws is hating America. Tell me how forcing Congress to follow the rules is hating America. Tell me how requiring the Commander-in-Sheik to obey federal law and stop denying explicit constitutional rights is hating America. Tell me how not wanting our country to become as bad as the tyrants we're fighting is hating America.

Conservatives talk about "knee jerk liberals" who react to any civil rights violation. Fine. But is it any better to blindly follow an idiot who daily breaks his oath of office, who willfully violates federal law, and who ignores Constitutional requirements because they don't serve his agenda?

Objecting to someone breaking the law and violating the Constitution is not hating America. It's standing up for what the country was founded on. Fanatics at both ends of the political spectrum should just shut up and take a good long look at what the laws say. Ignore the media, ignore the ranting and raving of fundamentalists on the right and fanatics on the left.

Stop and take a good long long at what the laws require. Take 15 minutes to read the Constitution for yourself. Article I, Article III, 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments will do for a start. Read the Constitution and then think for yourself about what's going on.

Stop being so concerned about what other people are doing to the flag, and start paying attention to what the government has been doing to the legal principles that created this country in the first place.

Is there any justification for breaking the law and violating the fundamental principles on which this country was founded? And can you honestly say people hate America when all they are doing is standing up for the Constitution?
