Do you think it could affect whether you would date them or not?
Say you loved someone 100%, but you hated their dress sense etc and found them embarrassing in public/infront of friends as they are "uncool".
Would this bother you?
Or not at all?
....be honest now! lol

Of course I'd try to change him! We do that all the time, don't we? We wouldn't be truly madly deeply if we weren't completely compatible, or part way in getting there.

I think our true loves must share the same passions, music, groups, politics etc. Otherwise we'd all be rowing all the time!

it depends on the severity of all the things you mentioned: the way society has molded them, not having a concept of style, the embarassment in public/in front of friends and uncoolness. i go for personality, SOH and maturity.

How can you love someone if you hate their style, and can't stand to be around them in public? What do they have to offer? a great body? if that's all, it's called lust, not love, and it'll fade. A great mind? then they should know how to not embarass you... or maybe you're too shallow for them, and they're trying to drop you gently.

Ask yourself who matters more, the one you love, or the ones you like.

It would effect you if the looked a mess but that's what birthdays and Christmas is for , you could soon sort that out its too superficial to throw away a good relationship because there not cool enough.
