you have this problem too? I'm so relieved. I used to be able to find lee riders with an elastic
back waist. those wouldn't make a gap above my butt, but they are scarce and hard to find. this will go in my watch list, and thanks for asking

Anything with stretch will help you out. Stay away from the Skinny jeans, b/c they'll fit your legs well, but not so much your hips. Dont get low slung jeans either, because it will push the 'fat' from around the hips over the edge of the paintline and it will stick out more. I know the Gap/Old Navy jeans are pretty good, I have hips (but I got a booty too).

THE DEB SHOP has a chain of plus size stores that are really spectacular in styles, colors, sizes and especially prices. I used to get my plus sized daughters jeans there for as little as $3 during clearance sales.

I have large hips too. Considering I love metal and rock music, I usually wear Tripp pants (from hot topic) but when I just want to be comfortable, I wear Glo. You can get them at like Sears, or Kohl's...any store like that should have them. Go for the stretchy kind. I find they fit better.

go to New York Company, most malls have it..the jeans are nice and they fit a wide variety of shapes and sizes

the best jeans for me are express jeans. they fit like a gem! also try apple bottom jeans!
