Can I disable download manager in Mozilla firefox and just use Free Download manager? if so, how? Please help me.

Don't know about disabling it but youcan set up FREE DOWNLOAD MANAGER to intercept MOST downloads
In FDM OPTIONS select DOWNLOAD OPTIONS click the MONITORING tab.
Check the MOZILLA FIREFOX checkbox click OK. After that RESTART FIREFOX.
Will do the trick for most standard downloads.
