We know, from school propaganda, that we have the FIVE senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell.

But we also have internal senses, don't we?

I'll list a few--kinesthetics and proprioception [how you can know that you are wiggling your fingers behind your head]

balance, orientation, and gravity and weight

hunger and satiety

horniness and orgaqsmic satisfaction

etc.--but I'd like to hear from the entire Planet, about how many internal senses you have found,
and what they are and tell you.....

Okay... these are the ones that I know about:
touch
-temperature
-pressure
-pain
-position (joints)
sight
-distance
-speed
-color
-depth
hearing
-speed (Doppler effect)
-direction
smell
-chemical identity
taste
-chemical identity
other physical
-balance
-fatigue (awareness of)
mental
-humor (pleasant surprise)
-fear (unpleasant surprise)
-unbased conjecture (intuition)
-spatial reasoning

So in all, that's 18 that I know of, since things like sight and touch are groups of individual senses.

hmm nice. I agree these can be classified under one of the five senses. But one thing I'm amazed is how accutely we can FEEL emotions. Like that of emotional dissapointments in love you really feel the squeezing pain of heart ache, breathing gets shallow, face gets hot and it's really like you could die. These chemical responses we feel as our perception of intentions or actions of others even with no physical touch, just emotional ones. Amazing.

There are 5 senses in the broad way but there is also the sixth sense( the one which gives us a feeling of alertness to some extent or make us feel that something is about to happen). But that's not all, there are tons other senses of which most are internal and most of the people are unaware that these senses at all do exist.

Intuition is not a sense, as in the traditional biology/physiology classification. Intuition is an intelligence that human beings are blessed with. Some people don't have this capability.

There are only 5 senses unless you want to count a woman's intuition as her 6th sense.
