No they can't do anything like that, it is totally safe to tell their parents. Get them married as soon as possible, if the bride and groom are married on their own will then it is totally leagal. And it is really the best solution to let their parents to know about it before it is too late.

tis sad...to be so young and to start your family like this...but ...now you must become an adult in everyway...take responsibility...tell the parents...and do what is right.
