Germany has a colored uniform as well. But because they are the host country they are wearing the white which is usually the home team colors for any country.

As the DFB (German Football Association) was founded, there was a German Empire. The foundation was on January, 28, 1900.
The Colours of the Flag of this Empire where White and Black.
So they made it the colours of the national Football team.
