Honey it is a beautiful thing however, sometimes in life things that are beautiful may cause pain. Love is painful usually because it means giving of ones self without expectations. Sometimes as human beings we do this and get hurt in return. However, never, never, let this stop you from loving.....people who are able to love are some of the luckiest people in the world. With a world full of jealousy, hatred, envy, greed, malice, and distrust...it's still nice to know that there are those of us out here who will continue to love no matter how many times we get hurt, we know that love is what some people need in order to survive. If you've been hurt, know that you are not alone, and hopefully the experience that you've had as a result of this pain that will help u to grow and blossom into a beautiful and dignified young lady. Remember sometimes people who are hurting themselves tend to hurt others....."Hurt people hurt people...."

Love is central to our lives, symarcia, and everything that is important revolves around it. But love does not cause the hurt, people do. When people fail to realize the importance of love, and become selfish, jealous, greedy and many other poor attributes, others get hurt. Love is a wonderfully nice thing, and people have to put positive effort into their lives to allow love to work its magic.
Not only are the people who fail at understanding the importance of love hurting others, they are hurting themselves the most. But they are so focused on themselves that they fail to see that they are clueless.

If love didn't hurt so much then everyone would have it. I think if someone really is in love it hurts. And people wonder why there are so many divorces out. Perhaps they didn't suffer enough before the got married. IDK. But if you mean, why does love hurt?- like when you can't have them, well, i would have to say that's why love hurts. We want something so much that our souls and hearts can't bear to be without that person. Our bodies react to this and we become somewhat uncomfortable.

Love shouldn't hurt, and if it does then the mutual love isnt there. I loved someone who cheated on me EVERY DAY....seriously....and I knew it, but I chose to ignore it. I thought love was suppose to hurt. I grew up with an abusive dad, and they guy I'm getting married to in 13 months has shown me that love doesn't hurt, it feels incredible.

It is purely an emotional thing, thaz y it hurts if the other one cheats you or leaves you. You should be ready for hurt if you are in love. As a matter of fact, we can only be hurt by people who we love. Do we care about others?

well... not even I can answer that one.. Love is an unexpainable feeling it can be nice.. really nice then it can be painful really really painful.. why does love hurts when it suppose to be a nice thing?.. Love isn't suppose to a all nice thing love is pain... everyone that is in love with someone or care about them is going to be hurt.. Love is just one of those unexpainable feelings...

It's not love that hurts. It's the other things that interfere with love, like disrespecting each other, taking things out on one another, etc. Love is what causes you to make up.

if you love someone who hurts you or makes you cry, you dont need to be with them. theres a quote, "if a guy is worth crying over, he wont make you cry"
love hurts b/c it is risky. you can get hurt. thats the risk. but loving somebody can feel so good. i wouldnt give that up for nothing, not riches, not nothing. You love somebody. you get thru the hard times. you stay with them. your relationship becomes very strong, you become very very close with them. that person is your very best friend. Love feels so good...yeah it can hurt..but its worth it.
