It would take a long time. Michigan has 83 counties and is the largest state east of the Mississippi River. Driving straight from Monroe in the southeast to Copper Harbor in the northwest would take you 591 miles, or 12 hours, but you would only be passing through about 25% of the counties. (By the way, the driving distance from Monroe to Washington DC is just 487 miles, 9.5 hours.)

I think it would take a good while! Michigan is a big state, and then there is the UP, too. It takes a long time just to drive straight north from mid-Michigan, and if you had to drive all around hitting every county that would take a REALLY long time!! I would think it might even three or four days, unless you are driving all night. Are you planning on doing this?

I dont think it would take long, just the traveling between some of the counties i think would take long. Since i live in Michigan i can tell you there are few counties that are exciting enough to want to visit. Go to Mackinac Island, its a really fun place
