From Wikipedia:
"In politics, a pork barrel (or pork barrel politics) is a derogatory term describing government spending that is intended to benefit constituents of a politician in return for their political support, either in the form of campaign contributions or votes. The term is thought to have originated on Southern plantations, where slaves were allocated the unwanted remainder of slaughtered pigs, or the "pork barrel". Typically it involves funding for government programs whose economic or service benefits are concentrated in a particular area but whose costs are spread among all taxpayers."

As you know the Zionist that rule over you' were drinking Methodist baby blood and somebody said "How come I haven't gotten a check yet for ruling the world an stuff?" Then, A Giant hook-nosed "old testament type' says " Your check is on the bottom of the PORK BARREL"....so, protestants took over the world and every 4 years a Democrat blames a Republican for introducing Pork into a bill thereby effectively maintaining that voting bloc

"Pork barrel had its roots in the 1800s. Throughout that century, pork was a common political shorthand term for any kind of dubious abundance (it evidently alluded to the fattiness of pork). Early in this century, (20th) for reasons unknown, the term grew into pork barrel, and became particularly associated with federal largess that a congressman managed to bring back to his home state.

In the early 20th century, in southern states, it was very common for politicians to drive up with a wagon of meat behind them. No kidding. They would hand out ham, bacon, all kinds of meat to whomever would show up and promise to vote for them. I have relatives that saw it first hand in Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Georgia.... so that could be one of the origins.
