Back Off, Give Him Space When he feels like opening up he will. He may just be trying to sort it all out Himself. And he don't need hourlly or daily reminders he was Abandoned as a child. I know it's in Our Female Make up to want to fix and repair the wounded but their are time we have to Wait.

Men were born and raised to bottle up our emotions. It may not be good for us but we are instinctively good at it.

Are you there for him as a buddy or are you hoping to make it an affair? If he has a slew of issues right now, a buddy could be welcome. But a lover could be scary because a lover brings with her obligations and commitments. Be the friend you say you are: back off and just be a buddy.

Get him to open up.. cause untill he releases his pain there is never any room for answers.. hate to say it but life has alot of abandonments... you haft to except and make new family members, just cause the blood is the same doesn't mean your tied for life, there is always someone that will love you more i promise...

He's probably afraid to open up and share. Afraid of the same feeling of abandonment.
Reassure him, and be honest!
