my 13 year old daughter wants to wear thongs. wen i wear thongs i feel incredibly sexy and maybe even a little naughty. not to mention wat guys would think about her if they somehow found out. i think shes too young 4 that. do u feel like that wen u wear them or am i just strange? should i let her wear them?

I wear a thong almost every day, even under sweats....it is that little something that makes me feel sexy. I think she is too young. If she is worried about panty lines there are alternates. By the way....if a thong is uncomfy then you have not find the right one!

i do feel sexy when i wear thongs, however for me its either no panties or thongs, they just feel much more comfortable. i do not think 13 is too young but the decision is up to you, you know her personality, if you think she is an honest girl ask her why she wants to, but if she has shown promiscuous behavior, you may not want to but remeber, if you think shes doing it to get attention from guys, and possibly lead further, she is going to do what she wants thong or thongless, i suggest that you buy her a pair or two,and talk to her about your concerns she will appreciate that you were thoughtful enough to consider her opinion and at least give her a chance

I started wearing thongs when i was 13 and my mom told me know so weather u tell her she can or not if she wants to wear them to fit in cause al her girlfriends are she is going to...as far as letting her wear them i wouldnt..but i started wearing them at 13 but u also got pregnant at 17

I think you should tell her that she has to be more mature to wear a thong. Let her come to you when she's ready, but you should sit and talk about it first. I personally thing that 15 or older is fine, depends of how they are in public or just around friends and family.

I wear thongs, but not because they're sexy; they just feel more comfortable and less binding. It's easier to put on a thong and forget about it than a pair of panties that ride up or get twisted. Maybe you could just let her have plain cotton ones, not the lacy, hoochy type thongs.

I wear nothing but thongs so they are normal to me. Been wearing them since about 16 yrs old. My mother wouldn't allow me to wear them that young either and I totally know what you mean about the boys. But you know what, I hated panty lines and they embarrassed me. That was the reason I wanted to start wearing them and just couldn't understand why my mother wouldn't let me. Should you let her ? I dont know. I think she is too young and I guess you dont want to send the wrong message to her or boys.

and at 13, she also shouldn't be wearing anything that she would NEED to worry about panty lines

At 13, thongs do not seem appropriate - this is a good time for a talk with her to explain some things... Obviously she doesn't totally understand the concept, and I would definitely try to make her understand why it's not appropriate.

I don't see what it would hurt if she and you are the only ones knowing shes wearing them, and that she is not sexually active behind your back. Keep in mind, Thong underware also can cause alot of yeast infections, cause they ride the private area a little to tight..

I would not let her wear them at 13. Thats way to oung and lets face it woman that wear thongs are looking to have a good time:) And you don't want your 13 yr old to be having a good time if you catch my drift.
