Yes, the old saying 'once a cheater - always a cheater' spring to mind.

If he could hurt you so much once then he will do it again.

Not necessarily if he is genuinely happy with you. Or if he has had a bad experience after cheating. Once a cheat always a cheat is not allays true. It depends on the guy. Some are always on the look out. No matter what. It is a sex addict thing or the pleasure of the hunt. But for some, it is a mistake that they felt doing at the time.

No difference if the behavior reared its ugly head once it will again unless you find out deep down what the problem is obviously there is a rooted issue there causing his moral system to fail it could be a great many things but it must be looked at carefully at least that is what i had to do and i found a great many things out about myself and the reason i do the things i do as a man in these times !

Hand on heart, i would say all men stray a little ,

this does not really mean, that all men do not love their wives or long term partners .

I think it is a "look i am still young and can pull a bird " thing .
It is hard for the wife or long term partner, to accept this , as being women, we think of sex as a sacred, personal thing
.
I hope he does not cheat on you again .

I also hope you can feel you are not rejected by him, when he comes back, to you all sorry and puppy eyed,
as he probably will .
;)

I would say the first time someone cheats is the most difficult for them. They've never done it before and may have some feelings of it being wrong.
After that they will find it easier (especially if they got away with it or were forgiven by their partner). So yes, if he's done it once he will probably do it again.

There's always a chance, the thing is you'll never know. You have to decide more importantly, if you can ever fully trust him again. If you can then give him a chance, if you can't forget it and cut your losses, chances are you'll end up festering about it and it'll cause other kinds of problems.

Cheating is cheating, the length of time in the relationship is no guide either.

personally i would never forgive infidelity but usually if it happens its a manifestation of something wrong in the relationship so maybe ye should talk about it to find out whats wrong and resolve any issues that ye both have

you deserve better though and if you can stay with someone after that your a better woman than me. you never really know if its gonna happen again u just have to decide if you can still trust him

Yes, he will inevitably cheat again. My last boyfriend cheated on his girlfriend before me, then he cheated on me. So, no doubt, the man you're speaking of will do it again.

I don't think he'll inevitably do it or not do it again. You have to think about it first, I mean, it depends on the guy. Not all guys are the same. But in my opinion, I think there's a chance that he might do it again.

You cannot guarantee that anyone won't cheat whether they done it before or not. Some people cheat as they're not happy with the person they're with, but just cannot bring themselves to dump them. If they are happy with the person they're with they're less likely to cheat. Just cos you've cheated on one person doesn't mean you'll cheat on another.
