i think they did get a good role player in shane battier coz he will give them outside shooting and good one on one defense. he could be that 3rd scoring option behing yao and t-mac. but on the otherhand they paid a high price with rudy gay and stro for battier alone. i hope they sign mike james coz i thought last years trade with rafer alston was just stupid. just look at their scoring averages and especially alston's field goal shooting. alston just cant shoot a lick. anyway i hope they still continue improving their roster coz t-mac's back is like as damaged as bob sura's knees. and i hope they let david wesley go coz they dont need another undersized shooting guard. in the end im satill a rockets fan and i hope they'll get over the hump in the west.

I think McGrady will become another one of those players who will only be able to dream about wearing a championship ring... as long as he is with the rockets

battier former dukie...so THATS COOL...but ...t-mac is DONE...thats too much time..to miss..and ya have a bad back??!!...bad coils and springs...for a guy that LIVES by jumping...and lifting...but as far as the rockets are concerned ..half a t-mac..is better than NO t-mac...yao..scores..but seems..more like a sideshow...but they are going nowhere...

still not a very deep bench... they can make the playoffs but i'll be surprise if they get past 1st round.
