Is Iverson going to the Celtics? Many insiders have said this is a legit trade talk betweem Phila and beantown. There are talks to trade celtic stars Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Wally, and even recently acquired stars Ratliff and Telfair. What do you think and what do you know?

Chances are Iverson is going to be traded, though I don't think it'll be to the Celtics.

He said, "If you can make that team better, if you can give them a better opportunity of winning, then do what you've got to do," Iverson said in an interview broadcast Friday night on NBC10. "But my heart is always in Philadelphia. I'm a Sixer for life. I've just got to prepare my family and make sure that they know that anything can happen. "My daughter all the time always talks about she never wants to leave Philly because she has so many friends there, and my son as well. But I just let them know that it's a business and this is how it goes down."

Emphasis is on the last sentence. Iverson said that he wants to contend for a championship, and unless Philly makes any big free agent signings, AI will want out of the Sixers organization really soon...It's doubtful that 76ers GM Billy King will trade Iverson to a Eastern conference rival though...it'd make a lot more sense for King to trade AI to a team in the west...whatever team he lands on, it'd probably be a serious playoff contender; since AI's done so much for the 76ers franchise and for the city of Philadelphia, management there will probably feel indebted to him and try to put him in a good situation to spend the final years of his career.

The main talk thats been circulating around philly is ATL wants him but, here in philly A.I said if he had it his way, He'll retire as a sixer.
He sells tickets, is the 2nd leading scorer and is in the top 5 in steals... None of the trades being rumored about would statisically come close and none of those players above are "stars"

I don't know but I hope he is put on a good team so he can win a championship. He needs to be put on the New Orleans Hornets team...i would love to see my state win a championship. But then again it really to matter b/c I'll still be a fan.
