To lose weight and keep it off, aim for no more than 2lbs a week. Any faster and you'll just gain it right back and then some. And, consume no FEWER than 1500 calories a day. Any less, and your body will go into starvation mode and horde everything you eat, and you'll gain weight. BTW - you have to eat 3500 calories less and burn 3500 calories more than you do now just to lose one pound.
My suggestions: eat a little more in the morning. That's not enough food you're eating so far. Add a yogurt or some whole-wheat toast or cereal. Have a few nuts (almonds or walnuts are really good choices) with the fruit at snacks. Add some veggies at dinner, but not carby ones. (Potatoes, corn, peas)
As for a time frame - realistically, aim for 6 months to year to reach your goal.
Good luck!! You're on the right track!!

I'm not a guy but I can tell you the stack of ephedrine caffiene and aspirin that was found in alot of over the counter diet aids is extremely effective, regardless of all the bad press if used properly it can be very safe. I lost 75 pounds using it. I think the product I used was a wal mart knock off of a name brand diet pill. I took 2 pills 2 times a day and drank a protien shake i bought at gnc I had one for breakfast and one for lunch mixed with water not milk, and had a normal dinner at night, and hardly exercised at all, and i was losing 8 pounds a week and felt great. so i would advise looking up some info on this stack online and reading about it ephedrine, aspirin, caffiene it really works and is very effective! worked better than anything else i had tried.

Try not to lose more than 3 lbs a week, five max. Once you are comfortable with the routine, add to it. Using weights (strength resistance) exercises really help boost the metabolism. Congratulations on starting a new program, the hardest is to start. btw: I'd avoid the banana - they metabolise rapidly into sugar in the body You might want to look up glycemic index on the net.

The first thing you need to remember is if you slow down your eating to much your matabolism will slow down and you will not loose any weight at all.The sit-ups may be adding to the size of your abdomin, I suggest lots of arobics and calistetics.Loosing 25-35 pounds in 4 mounths is realistic and safe for your body.Just remember to eat.
