Madonna. Rolling Stones. U2. Is it really worth more than what some folks earn in a day to see these concerts live?

No. I won't pay more than $50 on principal. In fact, it kind of makes me mad because you know these people already have bank, and yet they are still asking HUGE ticket prices from those of us that only make a couple grand a month. It's crap.

Julie, Bands charge what they think they can get away with and it depends on which venue they play because those persons that work the venue get paid also. (concessions, Parking etc.)
Some people just have way to much cash to throw around and pay top dollar for a night to see a favorite band just to say "I was there" doesnt make sense to me because I have seen some of the best bands and depending on the venue i get in for little or no charge by workin the lot and seeing if anyone has extra corporate tickets. Corporate tickets are given out by companies (usually in groups of four tickets) so if you see a couple walking to the gate all you do is ask for extras. alot of times you can get them cheap because even 5 bucks is better than throwing the other tickets in the trash

I think concert tickets are autrocious as well. Here in Omaha, though, its common knowledge that the high cost of tickets to anything is high because the public has to pay for a new center for concerts, etc., which, in my opinion, is a crock. But what are you going to do? Personally, I don't go to anything in the new building. In fact, haven't even been in it.

they wouldn't be so expensive if people weren't willing to pay for them. let's say if they hike up the prices, some will stay buy them and the difference makes up for those that cant afford them
