Waxing is the preferable method for staying hair free longer. Shaving is a much quicker way to get results, but it won't last nearly as long.
Other considerations: Waxing hurts like the dickens; shaving will drive you nuts with bumps when it grows back in.
It all depends on the results you are going for, and what you are willing to endure.
Smoothly,

If you want to have a bit of fun and be funky a love heart looks really nice. But if you want something plain, simple and easy to maintain then just leave a fine strip down the middle. I use a remmington bikini shaver, £19.99 from boots or any other chemist. The remmington also trims it for you, as it has different grades on it, just like a hair shaver. The hair does tend to grow back fairly quickly, so you need to trim it everyday. I find this is better than waxing, ( far too painful ) shaving or using cream as you dont get a rash, cuts or ingrowing hairs. If you really cant be bothered with the hassel of it all, you could go to a salon and have it all waxed off. Oouch!!! I am way to scared to have that done!!!!!

I would have to say wax it and then trim the long hairs. Put some baby power on before you apply the wax. Good Luck!

Waxing is the best way to remove unwanted hair, you should find a comfy spot to sit and have a mirror at the ready lol!
You can buy kits for this and they give you instructions even shapers like hearts or diamonds that are on g-strings so they stay in place too. I usually get my other half to help - HE LOVES IT ;o) but if you want to shave then do so but for both you need to treat your skin after as that area is sensitive and you could get a rash. Get it done by a pro and then do it yourself to maintain it's new shape.

If you have never waxed yourself before and dont know what you are doing i would go get it done but that would be the best way and shape for you to do.

I've always personally preferred the landing strip (a thin line). If you have a special someone, I might suggest trimming their initial into it.
For trimming: if you can get your hands on a beard trimmer (one with adjustable length, like hair clippers), trim the hair short all over, then use the trimmer to carve your desired shape into the hair with the shortest length, trim the rest off with the shortest length, use your regular leg razor to shave off the hair, rinse with cold water to close the pores and finally finish off with one of those creams for your legs that inhibit hair growth

ok with waxing its pretty painful but you will get used to it after while and it lasts for upto 3 weeks, if you shave you can get shaving rash and will have to shave regularly to keep it looking trim.
there isnt really a best shape as its each to there own, if your shaving then go for an airstrip, if you dont like it try something different next time, like a heart or an arrow.
BTW i'm male and do beauty therapy. ;)

I may be a bloke but I say wax it, it won't come back as harsh as if you trimmed it.
