My son (who is 7) is totally pumped up to see the new Spidey flick. We saw a trailer that can be seen at http://vids.craveonline.com/videos/00002249/spiderman_3__teaser_trailer.html . I myself think it is about Spiderman finding evil or the dark-side within him. My son TOTALLY disagrees. Just one thought. So watch the trailer and let us know what YOU think!!

I don't know much of the plot, but from what I've seen in the trailer, I can agree with you for now. Right until proven wrong. :}. Additional plot details on the movie will be released later this year or early next year, as soon as people have more information about it, so keep your eyes posted for any additional news. But each Spiderman movie so far as shown Spiderman's/Peter Parker's growth as a reluctant superhero. It works, which makes the movies great, and I hope they will continue with the growth of Spiderman as a superhero. We'll see.

It is mutli parted, as were the first two. First, Peter finds the symbiont that makes his black suit, but it affects his mind, bringing the darker parts to the front. Therefore, there is a lot of internal struggle between the good in him that has taken on his responsibility, and the evil inside that wants what he desires only. In addition to that, the sandman makes an appearance so he ahs to be defeated, and there is likely more development of the Hobgoblin as Oswald embraces his father's full heriatge as well as his hatred for Spiderman. Oh, and the guy who eventually becomes Venom looks set to be created as well, but the trailer only gave vague hints about that.
The problem I see is that to do all of that would take like 3-4 hours!

It is about the symbiotes. Aliens that infect the body and take over as parasites. It's the smae alien that attacked Eddie Brock to make Venom and Kletus Kassidy to make Carnage and Toxin. It also revolves around Harry's revenge to kill spiderman by becoming the Green Goblin II. The Sandman also comes into the picture and if anything like the comics wants Mary Jane. So it mostly revolves around Peter keeping his cool under the pressure of the symbiote and three super people fighting over the same girl

No, if you've ever read the Spiderman comic...the dark Spidey suit is actually alien suit that attaches itself to Spiderman. So it's not actually evil inside him; it kind of binds itself to him as a dark side. I've attached a link that tells the story of the suit and how it links up with Eddie Brock/Venom. I'm not sure how closely the movie will stick to the original story.

I heard it's going to be about a nerd who think he's a superhero. Dressing up in a weird customs with black lines all over. Climbing walls and stuff. He called himself a Spider. He's a boy but he thought he's a man so he put the word Spider together with the word man and call himself Spiderman. And then he fall for this girl who is pretty over rated in terms of the looks factor.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna have something to do with Harry turning bad like his dad the green goblin and of coarse there is gonna be a new villian which i think will be the reporter boss' son, the one that was gonna marry Mary J in part 2. It looks awesome so I can't wait to see it!!

It looks like he's doing some "soul searching", sort of like in the middle of Spidey 2. Looks good!

Venom and Sandman at least. HIs black costume was about the symbiote trying to take him over. And the symbiote isnt Venom, Venom is Eddie Brock with the symbiote.

venom, whcih is a suit from outerspace with its own eviel intentions. it latches on to spiderman, then runs off, but i doubt the movie will see the suit take over another
