Can someone please tell me how to clean a bug buster??? I don't want to have to take it down to clean it.?

Is there another way??? Please help. I need to get all the bugs off of it so it will work at its full capacity????

My mother used to have one of those light zapping bug lights and the only way we could clean it off was by unplugging it and spraying it with a hose.
and let it dry over night before plugging it up again.
