Fireworks are completely banned in my city, but luckily I can go buy them outside of town and blow up the countryside...

Your town is hypocritical (i think). Let's say your town has fireworks on the 4th of July. Well, they're going against their own rule! That's not right. I think your town should be avle to buy fireworks, but have the people who buy them talk to the police or something before the [firework] show

I thought the laws in California were a little strict until I got to New York! At least California allowed them, though they started banning things like sparklers. When I lived in Oregon the only thing I could have were smoke bombs, how lame is that? New York does not allow any!! But you can bounce across to Pa. and get whatever you want!

Ant- fireworks laws are for public safety and comfort. They are a good thing. What pleasure is gotten from all that noise and mess, anyway?

...well, in California, you'd be cited for a number of pyro law violations. The state goes up in smoke during the summer just by looking at it!
