Do you ignore it? Apologize and take a break?Turn over? I'm sure it happens all the time but I'm only recently starting to get alot of massages because I'm playing more Racquetball and Tennis.

There is no proper ettiquette for one...It is a natural response from your body...As a massage technician, most of the sports athletes that I work on get erections every time we have a session...There is no need to be embarrased, if you have a good massage tech, they should know how to work around it with out making you feel uncomfortable...For those of my clients that feel seriously uncomfortable I take an extra towel wet it with luke warm water and lay it across them...It usually works...But what ever you do don't be embarrased...Relax and continue to enjoy your message...Most Message techs are used to this....

It depends, if your getting a massage from the opposite sex, then don't worry about it. If it's the same sex....think about something totally off the wall like how many pieces of candy it would take to fill a jar.

Just close your eyes and start a soft, gentle snore. And enjoy the rest of your massage. The massage therapist should take it as a compliment unless you say something dumb.

IF THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION:

the massage therapist isn't worried about it and is comfortable with his/her job.
you are the one who isn't totally comfortable if you are thinking about it.
it is natural. it isn't you. you can't help it. if the massage therapist is doing his/her job well, this is to be expected.
the massage therapist should put down an extra towel on top of the sheets. when you get onto the table face up you should put the towel there yourself. the therapist can move it under your leg without touching anything and without seeing anything.
many men have this 'problem' of not knowing what to do with 'it'.
you are normal, and thanks for asking. i know how embarrassing it must be to have to ask.

Who is massaging you? A man or a woman? I think that makes
some diffrence in the equation, but either way, if you just can't
control this- seriously considering wearing a jock-strap, and if
things are still self-evident, (always have a bathrobe, not just a
big towel, nearby), just grab it "excuse me, I need to use the
restroom" (and you wouldn't be lying either). That ought to soften up this hard dilemna of yours...........

If the attendant is male, you are in trouble. Now, if it's a female, say "Excuse me, let me get rid of that for you...." polish one off, and let her finish the massage!

if its a female I'm sure by now she is used to it, you could simply say a simple apologize unless your a regular then just say its your fault . but if its a guy im sure that would be very awkward ,
