You can't pick a style based on the style, you need to pick a pair that make you look GOOD.
The right pair enhances your natural good looks, the wrong pair looks cheesy.
So start tryin'em on. And if you find several styles you like? Well, if you're on a budget, look for knockoffs at discounters. Then you can change your pair with your mood.

First and foremost you need good UV Protection, your eyes are very sensitive and you should try to protect them where possible. Cheap knockoffs or just cheap sunglasses won't usually have the UV protection of the better brands. I myself use Ray-Bans as they have excellent UV Filters and have a range of styles to suit anyone, but there are lots of others that would be just as good or perhaps better.
I recommend popping in to your local opticians to ask to see what they have available and that way you can get some idea of what is what; the optician will also be able to advise you on how much UV protection you may require.

when you choose your sunglasses they should work with your face shape girls can get away with different shaped glasses cos they can open up there faces by putting their hair up. try lots of pairs on and take a Friend along for there opinion

At the moment the trend seems to be for enormous ones, but I should ignore them unless you want to look like Buggles-era Trevor Horn. Try on the other ones until you find a pair you like, this will depend on your face shape, hair and colouring.

it is really really cool to make your own sunglasses ... try cutting out the bottoms of some green plastic bottles and gluing pink striped bendy straws to them so you can hang them round your ears.

Don't pick big ones, you'll look like you're wearing chick glasses, unless you're gay & then it's cool becasue you'll look even gayer.
try them on, ask opinions of other shoppers or bring a pal.
