A transistor is consisted of one P-Type material sandwitched between two N-Type material or One N-Type material sandwitched between one P-Type materials. In simple words the input that is base to emitter circuit is forward biased and Collector to Emitter circuit is reversed biased. Emitter is common. When current flows through FB of input the stoped current in reversed biased out put circuit starts running. when current stops in input , out put current is also stops.
