You can't. U can check in the Sent items, but you can't know if it's been read..

That option is not available. But if the email id is not correct then a mailerdeamon would come in your inbox

if the mail is not recieved yahoo sends u and e-mail saying ERROR. and if it's recieved u don't get any error mails.

Send a BCC to yourself and that will let you know if the email has been received. If you get yours, they got theirs.
This will not tell you if it was opened, though.
