I believe I may have concieved June 25-26, and yesterday July 2, I had light bleeding, (not even enough to show on a pad) it was first bright red then it was sort of brownish and dull. That is about 7-8 days after conception. Could that be Implanation bleeding? My hubb and I have been trying for 2 months. My stomache has been cramping, I've been tired, and little back pains. Do you think I'm pregnant. Is all of this normal. My main question is when is a good time for me to take a preg test, because I took one this morning and it came up negative. I think it was too soon, only 8 days after conception! Need help! or similar stories, thanks ladies and gentleman.

If you ovulated on 25-26 June, then spotting on 2 July was probably implantation bleeding. In this case, testing with a very sensitive test around 5-7 July will probably bring you good news!
But it's also possible that the cramping and spotting are signs of ovulation and you have the dates all wrong. In this case, if you are pregnant, you won't get an accurate test for at least a week later--12-14 July at the earliest. If you don't use the most sensitive test, add at least 3 days (maybe a full week) to these dates.
There is *no* way you can possibly have an accurate test less than 8 days after ovulation. It takes the fertilized egg *at least* 6 days to travel to the uterus to start implanting, and before implantation, it isn't attached to your body in any way. It *can't* cause any physical changes. And it takes at least a day to start producing HCG and another for the HCG to show up in your urine.

I have had these same symptoms only no bleeding. I am wondering the same thing. I took an at-home pregnancy test last week and it came up negative. Although I knew it was early to take it. I am going to a Diagnostic Center to take a pregnancy test there after work today. Cramping, is normal for some. You can't take everything that EVERYONE has, because everyone has different symptoms. The best thing is to go to your regular doc, or find a gyno that you can trust. That is what I am going to do. Let me know how you turn out, if you'd like. I am interested because you have same symptoms as I do. Just curious to see if those REALLY ARE pregnancy symptoms, that's all.
My ovulation days should have been through the same time as you, and I was almost SURE I conceived on that June26-27. But I won't know till later I guess.
Thanks

I know if you might look at my profile and I seem to young to be giving this type of advice but i have some experience in this because one of my closet friends had sex and thought she was preganant and had to wait 2 weeks before she could take the test. What I am trying to get at is that you have to wait 2 weeks before you can really tell if you are preganant or not and for the test to work.

I took home EPTs and they were all negative it didn't show positive until I was 6 months pregnant. I would go to the doctor and ask for a blood test but that doesn't show until the fetes plants itself in the uterus and I'm not sure how long that takes.

Wait until next week and take a First Response test, they are not that expensive and can detect pregnancy 5 days before your period should start.

in many cases you can test even 2 days after possible conception
but...many other things can be happening like
cycle changing
wish full thinking(you want it so bad you've convinced your body of it)
see your doctor........light bleeding ......cramping......back ache are signs of other things......i don't want to scare you ....I've had many miscarriages some were ectopic(out side of the uterus)
call your doctor right now get checked out

It depends on the test. Some you can take sooner than others. What would be best is to read the box or talk to your doctor.
