I'm suspecting my girlfriend has a crush on a
movie star because of things she has said and done in the past.
The problem is, as much as I know this is perfectly normal
and OK I feel very uncomfortable knowing this to the point
where I'm feeling sad and depressed.
What do I tell myself to overcome these bad feelings? I know my girlfriend loves me and is happy with me and we have a great relationship, it's just my own paranoia and occasional low self esteem.
How do you handle it? At what point is a crush not OK?

talk to her.
tell her your feelings.
if she cherish you, she will be more careful when she is w you, she will not say things that will hurt you, it will make things better.
Communications - tell her that you are jealous bec you loves her. things should be well...

Well, sorry to put it bluntly , but sir,, you can get over it!!!
Do, you really think that anything will come of this "movie star crush" ???
Do you think that he is going to call her up, ask her out, and therefore cheat on you>>>????
It is no different than men looking at magazines...
A crush isn't o.k. when something becomes of it.... which I could understand if this wasn't a star , and therefore somthing really happen in the relationship.
I would suggest talking to her,, about the situation and explain, and come out and say,,that it bothers you,,you want her to feel the same about you as she does about the movie star, and you feel like you are lacking because you aren't a star (not sure if u feel that way or not, but you get my drift?)

There's nothing wrong with the crush. It's just a fantasy that has no chance of coming true. She picked YOU.
You need to let this go and not obsess about it. She's not going to leave you because she's crushing on some celebrity, but she might leave you if you make her feel bad about it.

Well, if your girl has a fantasy crush then it just that, fantasy. You can't really do anything when it comes to someones imagination. Besides, have you considered that she probably fantasizes his face with your body. I really wouldn't worry about it. I mean, unless she has like a collage or something really mental then I'd start to think things, but just be happy that your the center of her fantasy world.

You feel she is comparing you to a plastic hollywood doll, don't worry, I am sure you see a nice butt and have thoughts too. You worry if she acts on her crush. Until then , tell her it makes you uncomfortable when she juices up for any other man and tells you about it.

My gf has one on Denzel Washington. I have one on Angelina Jolie. I went through the same thing but just remind yourself that it will NEVER happen.
