To answer this question, it is better to view it by defining the holding period.

Holding Period Fund
-------------------------- ------------
> 5 years RVF
> 3 and < 5 years FIBCF
< 3 years FIDPEF

Reasons:
1) RVF is an aggressive fund. This fund has a fair chance of producing higher return. Since this fund is known to take higher risk, there is fair chance there could be failures due to wrong calls or due to market downturn, the risky selections may take a beating. Given a fairly long period, the fund will overcome these failures and produce a better return.
2) FIBCF is a pure large cap fund. During downturn the falls may be lower and for a shorter period it may have a higher risk-to-reward ratio compared to RVF.
3) For shorter period FIDPERF may be a safer bet as during market highs this fund will switch to debt than a fully invested equity fund. Similarly when the markets turn negative and investors shun equity, this fund will get fully invested providing a better return.

Good luck.
