I do not think it will as it was becoming too politcal and extreme for the comics page, without having the following and soft edge of Doonesbury.
Luckily, it is on Cartoon Network late at night.

It still runs daily here in San Francisco. But they started reprinting the strip from the beginning a few months back. It was interesting to read again the introduction of the DuBois family and Cindy McPhearson, etc. But I agree, I want the regular strip back!

Magruder said it will return in six months that is what he said after the last new episode of the show on cartoon network. I can not wait I love the comic strip and the show.
