If she can wait you can wait. I can't believe how many people find out the sex of their babies just because another family member MUST know. My grandmother was on my mother's case continuously throughout my pregnancy which then caused my mother to bug me about it so she could satisfy her mother. I refused to cave. I waited many years for my son and I felt that just a few more months were not going to hurt me (or anyone else).
If you are worried about shower gifts - there are plenty of unisex styles for a newborn. You can also ask her what she needs or get her a gift certificate.

hey don't u think that she should wait for that special moment of the baby's arrival???
only 3 months are left nw !!! and this time couple is excited about the nw guest. wheter it will be a girl or boy , she'll love the baby, and if she got to know abt the baby's gender, then all the excitement will go over during the delivery time

She's having a... BABY! The only way you can find out the sex of her baby is by waiting three months until it's born.

HELLO-- does it really matter as long as the baby is healthy and normal????? Perhaps you ought to worry and focus more on getting your life ready for this baby and planning on a loving life for this baby--then to wonder about the sex!! Furthermore if you asked your DR. for an ultra sound the DR. would do so.

there is no way to tell by looking at your belly or looking at the ultra sound picture, if she has a an ultrasound then she can tell, my friend said she told the doctor that she was having blood come out of her and fluid andthey ordered an ultrasound right away because they thought amniotic fluid was coming out. it is a cheap shot at the docotrs but hey it worked and she got her info.

You can wait until the child is born like everyone else. It's great fun to wait until birth to find out the gender of your baby, so respect her wishes.

sonogram is the best way. the myths of the baby being higher or lower in the adomen is just that. either way you have a 50/50 chance.

in my experience, if u look at ur sister from behind and can tell she is pregnant, it's a girl. most women gain "all over" weight with girls, and only have a bump with boys. also if her bump is higher, i say girl, if the bump hangs lower, boy. good luck!
