we do foster care for our state . but because we get so attached to the children and then have to give them up ,we have decided to adopt . we would like to adopt a family with more than one child. we are in good health and love kids. we have grandchildren.but they live a long distance from us ,300 miles . our children are behind us and think we are too young to not have children around also .what should we do world.help us.

sounds like you guys are great people. in your 40's still young. why not. there are so many kids out there just waiting for loving people like you to. go ahead. why not. you have the home the money and the LOVE.
Life is what you make of it. And if you can make it great for some kids out there why not. What you waiting for?

Okay. this is going to come across as harsh, but if you honestly feel all you just wrote about loving foster kids you will understand.............
In one sentence you say "we have decided to adopt" and then are undecided in the next saying "what should we do world.help us"?
If you have to ask a bunch of strangers if you should adopt , then the answer is a resounding NO!!!!!
You know all too well what happens when children come in to this world to parents who are not 100% sure about or committed to being parents. ALL children deserve that.

I think it's great that you want to open up your home to unfortunate children. You are still so young, people now a days are having children at all ages, your just better by helping those innocent kids. I respect your efforts greatly. Good luck on all your adventures

it depends on how old the children are because they at least have to be 6-11 for you to hanndle.

i commend you 2..... you sound like you have a lot of love to give...and who more than to kids...kids in need of love, care, attention and family...so i say ....go for it...do what is right in your hearts....one can never go wrong when one has so much to give.
