Bill Kreutzmann (1965 - 1995) and Mickey Hart (1967 - 1971, 1975 - 1995).

The original drummer was Bill Kreutzmann. Mickey Hart joined the Band as a 2nd drummer ( also played Percussions ) in 1967, but left the Dead in 1971.
