Hit your ankle on both sides with a hammer as hard as you can. You might as well hit your foot several times and break it while you are at it.

are you nuts? first, you don't need to break it to go to the hospital of to get crushes. Second, you'll be stuck in a cast for at least 1 month during summertime ( it means no beach, no pool ): Third, a sprained ankle takes about a week to heal. Just get some rest and stop walking on it.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.

So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.

Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.

A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

Heal your ankle fully & fast?

My husband broke his ankle 2 years ago. Trust me! you don't want to break it. Just go back to the doctor (assuming you've already been?) and tell them it is still causing you a lot of pain. If it is only a sprain they will still offer you crutches and probably an air-cast.

What type of language are you trying to type?
To break an ankle, jump out of a 15 foot tree, make sure you land on the hurt ankle, you may also break a leg while your at it. I recently broke my ankle, and let me tell you something, you think you have pain now when you walk around? You havent felt anything yet.The hospital DID NOT GIVE ME CRUTCHES,I had to buy them myself, after being in a wheel chair for 4 weeks due to this accident I was in.I am now using crutches to get around,I ran out of a bottle of pain killers and can not get a refill.I still have the cast on my ankle, and believe me, its much harder than you think when trying to use them dang things to get around. So before YOU try to hurt yourself, take my words and ponder on them.

You're an idiot.
You brake your ankle by stopping motion with it. Duh!
Maybe you mean "break"....do you really want to be in a cast for 6 weeks, and then in physical therapy for another few months?

Just jump off a bridge and get it over with.

Sometimes sprains are more serious than breaks. so you should be happy that you have the sprain.
