Well, most Texans were gullible enough to elect him Governor. He exchanged the siver spoon in is mouth for a silver boot .He changed for the same reason Jed is in Florida.

Consider Colorado lucky, Neal Bush bankrupted many people, small time investors, when he took millions and ran shortly before Silverado Savings & Loan went belly up. Think about, ole Neal is the invisible man in the Bush clan. At least he din't have Dad's reputation and donor's big bucks to weasel into Colorado politics.

Did you know Bush Sr. is legally from Texas? Forget Kennibunkport Maine, check his tax records. He moves to Texas every year for 2 weeks to get Texas citizenship so he doesn't have to pay the state income tax in Maine. And Jr.'s campaine promise was to be just like his daddy. I didn't vote for him the first time because of this. Jr. isn't president anyway. Halliburton board of directors makes policy. That makes Cheney president.

From a TEXAN:

Whoops! You are wrong..again!

Texans are residents or natives of the state of Texas (or the former Republic of Texas) in The United States of America.
This statement includes persons born in Texas and non-natives who are strongly associated with the State of Texas at any time in its history.

President Bush resides in Texas...and we are proud that he has chosen our great state for his permanent residence!

And he doesn't say he was BORN in Texas.... the following is a paragraph from his biography published for the world to read....

Biography of President George W. Bush

President Bush was born on July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut, and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University in 1968, and then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975. Following graduation, he moved back to Midland and began a career in the energy business. After working on his father’s successful 1988 Presidential campaign, President Bush assembled the group of partners who purchased the Texas Rangers baseball franchise in 1989. On November 8, 1994, President Bush was elected Governor of Texas. He became the first Governor in Texas history to be elected to consecutive 4-year terms when he was re-elected on November 3, 1998.

People in the US move around more than most of the rest of the world. Why would it matter that a politician has moved from state to state?

(I don't like him, either, but this is reaching a bit too far.)

Yes and no.

Yes, they probably all know that he was born in CT.

No, that does not mean he is not from Texas. Having grown-up there, raised a family there, and built his business there, I think it is legitimate to say that he is from Texas.

Hillary Clinton isn't from New York either, and they made her a Senator. Did they know she wasn't from New York? Will her lies never end? Was there a point to this?
