If twice the number of people could produce children, it would only make sense that twice the number of children would be produced.
As can be demonstraited by any glance at contemporary American culture (or European) their is a definite wall of seperation between making children and giving birth. The two have some how become unrelated, so I imagine the with the typical time inconnistant decision making even if men would not want to face the prospect of giving birth like you assume, the population would still increase.

Yes, Yes, Yes. I would not willingly become pregnant for anything. The thought of something that big going through something that small is very painful. The fact that Women want to have kids is impressive. Anyhow I have two girls and am impressed by my wife's pain tolerance and that she wants to have more. All this not to say that men don't like kids, because I do. Kids are great fun (and hard work).

I laughed when I read this. A loud snorty kind of laugh. =)
Only because, I HAVE seen a man with the flu and the sight can be a frightening thing to behold...
But, I've seen women who whine for days over a broken nail.
I hope your guy feels better soon.. I remember the agony of influenza more acutely than I do the birth of my children. Baby him, he deserves it.

Ha! You must have watched Grey's Anatomy last night! It was about a man who thought he was pregnant - showed all the symptoms - even passed the test!

personally i think you might be right cause we wouldnt know what to do with having another life form growing in our bellies. even though alot of us guys know what its like to carry a big gut. Im sure the pain of labor would make us think about not having sex. As for the flu not sure what you mean by that to me its nothing more than slowing down my performance and making me cranky at work.

I think the human race would for sure die because men when they are sick in any way shape or form act like little babies.
