You just have to wait until the service is offered in your area. You can only get high speed DSL through these methods:

1. ADSL Modem through the phone line
2. Cable Modem through the cable company
3. Satellite Modem through the satellite company

Some dial up providers give you supposedly high speed dial up like Netzero, AOL, and PeoplePC.

The only option you really have is satellite. If you don't have any type of broadband then you are left with dial up or satellite. What you can do is call your local phone/cable companies and complain to them and ask them when they plan to get broadband to your area.

DO NOT GO WITH SATELLITE, they SUCK!!!!!!!!!! I live in a remote area too and when I had no DSL, I used dual modems over two phone lines. You can easily set this up in Windows. And, dual modems is actually fast.

I think your only hope for high speed in that case is satellite, something like HughesNet, Intelligence Network, or StarBand.

you can use web accelerator software. It loads in the graphics last so the site comes up faster and on some of the software it actually lowers the graphics quality so the images display but not as good of quality.

Do search for "web accelerator" and you will find there are bunch of them.
