She left after 22 years because she decided she wanted to smoke dope and party in the bars with her single divorced girlfriends and I had a problem with it. Now she thinks I should pay her a chunck of money. She already got everything but the kitchen table this computer and one tv set. We never had kids together either. She has wealthy parents and a good job. I did nothing wrong to this woman and now she is owed something. What the hell can I do so I can move on?

Let your lawyer do your fighting for you and stop worrying about it because beyond that there is nothing you can do but move on with your life.

she left you then she can pay for her choice. When you go see the judge don't be a jerk show caring, and understanding but suggest she left on her terms and she should support herself as if she would have not been partying to much you would still be married happily. I would get a attorney to do the work and if you must pay alimony then get it set for like 3-6 months at most with time limits. Your other choice is deal with her actions and get back with her. Good luck! 22 years is alot of years to be together and just walk out.

The sad thing is i am not sure you can. . If i was you i would make her think that i had someone else in my life. I would say something like
'hey i am going to let this woman move in with me so you might want to speed this divorce up a little, than again if you still want to be married to me while another woman is sleeping with me than thats fine 2"You could at least try that and see what she says.

In some cases, the judge will sign the papers. You and her will have to go to court. It be your say over her's. Only the judge can make the choice, over who gets what.
When it's finally over and done. Pick up what is left, and go on with your life. What makes us stronger, is from the mistakes we make in life. We live, learn, and we go on.

Is there any way your lawyer can assign deadlines to certain milestones and attach financial penalties to her if she misses a deadline? Sounds like you have to create an incentive(s) to incite action and urgency on her part.

Find a hot, younger girl and bang her brains out at least once a week.
