I don't think anyone really knows outside of the Prongers and the Oilers. I've heard everything from his wife hating Canada to infidelty rumors. But all of it is just that: rumors. And judging his wife one way or another is really pointless and unproductive.

And it doesn't really matter anyway. Pronger is now a duck, and the oilers get Joffrey Lupul, prospect Ladislav Smid and a conditional draft pick in return (according to sportsnet.ca). Not exactly exited about that trade, but can't really judge until next season.

Pronger wont leave the Oilers. They do have a really good team, even though the didn't win. Their defense is really strong, their goalie is one of the best,(better than Cam Ward), and their offense, doesnt cut it. The offense is the weak spot on that team.

He was just traded to Anaheim. Good riddance. He is only an above average defender and did little in the playoffs.

And for cary l, I know plenty about hockey. Prove my statement wrong. He is past his prime.
