she is probably worried that if things go sour between you and her brother, its going to mess up the friendship.
or either that, she just doesn't want to think about you + her bro together.
but i say do what makes you happy.
talk to her about it and see whats on her mind. communicating before might be a good idea before you spring into action.

Honey I hear ya.I like my brother's friend and my brother doesn't seem thrilled. If you think it's an issue ask her why.He could be the worst person you could date or something. then it could just be that it would make her feel weird for her friend to be coming over to see her brother and not her so much. trust me it could be a weird situation.And suppose you two get together, find out you hate each other, or one of you cheats.That alone will make it weird for you to come to her house.Maybe you should respect her for it or at least ask her.

Talk to her first! Ask her straight out if she is okay with you liking/going out with your brother. Your frienship should come first, so respect what she says.
