Black Opal is a make up line that specializes in colours for darker skintones. You can find the line in most drug stores. That's a good place to start. Also, Iman has a make-up and skincare line for dark skintones as well, but it's a bit pricier. Most department stores will carry the Iman products.
The best lipstick and liners for you depend on your exact skin shade. The best thing to do is to experiment - get a beauty counter makeover, or try samples and then take a look at yourself in both indoor, and natural lighting.
Most dark skintones look good with darker reds, and it's also hard to go wrong with a natural look created with tinted lip glosses.

You can pretty much wear any shade of lipstick no matter what your skin complexion is. It is all about your undertones, you need to figure out if your undertone is red or yellow, i think some people have orange. Most darker skinned people have red undertones. ( If you do not know your undertone: Ask someone who works at a makeup counter). Here are some suggestions...
1. MAC chestnut lip liner
2. MAC Oh Baby lustreglass
3. Any berry colored lip liner
Don't be afraid to wear pinks, its all about finding the right shade that complements your complexion.

Mac makes excellent products for darker skin, for a less expensive option check out the Queen Collection by Cover Girl. They're great for darker skin and really inexpensive in comparison to other products.

well a drak skinned complexion always looks nice with darker shades...burgandy, darker greens. just DARK colors. stay away from pinks and whites and light blues....not a good idea. but things look differently on different ppl. so i just say experiment and go with what looks good.
