It really depends on your definition of appropiate and the 10 year old himself.

I was a mature when i was a little kid (most of the time). So my parents were letting me see PG 13 movies and broadway plays with them all the time. Now i've never seen Spamalot, but I would guess there would be alot of jokes about sex and such in it. Do you think that this ten year old would repeat what he hears? If so, then don't take him(her?).

Also, ask yourself how good he(she?) is at picking up on jokes. If the sex jokes go straight over his(her?) head, don't worry about it. Take him(her?). It won't corrupt him(her?) if he(she?) can't understand it and doesn't repeat it.

Monte Python is typically not kids fare. I haven't seen the show, but I am a fan and my guess is that much of the material will be the equivalent of PG-13 to R.

Rent the movie to pre-screen the material. I'd say it's not appropriate for a ten-year old, though.

Well the play is based of the film and the film is rated PG. It really depends on what you think I guess.

Nope because he or she wouldn't understand the jokes.
