it doesn't matter really. its just that its more comferterbal that way.

Well, like I have a choice, 5'1 and almost 15 years old! lol it doesn't matter to me (but I've never been with a guy shorter than me-there just isn't any around my school!) but some girls like guys that are taller than them because they wouldn't want the other end of the situation-where the guy is shorter than them! Some girls are too insecure to be seen with a guy shorter than them! Have a nice day! :)

I don't think it matters, but girls usually like a guy that is strong and can take care of them, kind of the daddy complex, but a guy you can look in the eyes to is just as good or even if you are taller if he is nice.

Well guys are naturally taller than girls, so we are probably programmed that way. And that is usually how are parents are. My mother may be 5'7, but my dad is 6'2. I am used to having a very tall man in my life. Girls marry men like their fathers and for most of their lives, and usually for all of a girl's ife, their daddy is taller than she is. We are looking for a new man to protect us and hold us. Seeking a new father.

i really really like a boy shorter than me but i have like guys taller and in my opinion taller guys give you a bigger feeling of safety

for me, its just because I'm tall for a girl, I'm 5 ft 8 and I always feel like I'm a giant standing next to boys in my grade because I'm a sophmore, and I know most boys don't get tall until junior year, but yeah I think its a security thing too

Because they think they are older. most girls go out with guys that are taller then them.

i only ever liked 1 guy who was taller then me. i like guys who r older then me though by like 10 or 20 yrs.

it doesnt really matter. its just really awkward if your looking in his eyes or something and you have to come down a little lower just to meet his eyes. that and society today doesnt really show girls dating guys shorter than them and of course, for most people, whats shown on tv is law(well for most teenagers)
