NO - it is a brainwash that has affected too many people. What happens now? People try too hard to be this picture-perfect model of non-racist perfection, and they jump at any opportunity to defend the ultimate equality of everyone, instead of embracing the differences we all have as members of different races. Why is it so bad to recognize the negative side to people? Isn't that the only way people will pull their heads out of their butts and change?

Political correctness is just there to force good manners on all of us that we should be using in the first place. If you use good manners, be polite, follow the "golden rule" of do unto others what you would have them do unto you, or even the "silver rule", live and let live, then we wouldn't even need PC.

Political correctness holds other people responsible for how you feel, which is wrong. If I am offended by something, it is up to me to remove myself from the presence of what is offending me or ignore it completely. The only place it is proper is in the workplace, where people cannot remove themselves from the situation.
Political correctness is like alcoholism; alcoholics hold everyone else responsible for their own behaviour (drinking).

I extremely tend to trust latter thought, considering the fact that political correctness can intrude interior the learn of background. The "elementary experience" is exceeded over and has been exceeded over. the optimal occasion of that's the large war, or international war I, and how it has emerge as seen immediately contained in direction of the eyes of the poets, novelists, and filmmakers, as unfavourable to the militia historians. immediately, very few video clips are made on the 1st international war with no pacifist subject linked - which disregards the real background of people who volunteered and supported the war.

In certain areas of life it is a must. But it is important to not let it limit the way you think or express yourself. People are imaginative enough to work around it and still get their intended point across, the secret is to know what your true intent is.

I think it sounded good in the first place, but it has begun to do more damage than good now. The Muslim in America have special rights and the Christians have less rights because of it.

No, it makes people too sensitive. We are supposed to have freedom of speech but if someone says something that's not PC, then it's supposed to be censored and everyone throws a caniption. Look, I don't like a lot of things people say, but you don't have to listen or respond to them.
