Definatley gas or constipation. Rub the bottom of his little belly. Also, I know this may be a little gross but it will help, lay him on the changing table and see if you can help him out by instering a thermometer rectally. My duaghter was consipated about the same age and a nurse recommended that and it worked. Call the Dr to see what they recommend too, some Dr's will be ok with Karo syrup in a bottle to relieve the constipation.

It may be gas....try gently massaging his belly under the belly button for a few minutes and then pumping his legs. Also, you could give him Mylicon drops to see if that helps.
If that doesn't seem to help you might want to talk to your pediatrician about the symptoms.
Hang in there!

I would say it's gas he doesn't necessarily have to actually pass gas for it to be gas it could be built up and he is having a hard time passing the gas also has he had a b.m lately? For gas you can by gas relief drops. Also try wrapping him nice and snug in a blanket like they do in the hospital.

Don't kids just DO that sort of stuff - throw their limbs around and make noises? Maybe he wants attention or food. Maybe you should ask a doctor.

Does he have regular BMs? If not, he may be constipated and needs a suppository. Also, try massaging his belly.

sorry to say, but i have two boys, and i think i was blessed. i didnt have all the problems that most pople have with fussy, constantly crying babies. ask your pediatrician, the baby may also want to be held close to you.
