Look in the Bible. Genesis chapter 1-2. It all started when Eve and Adam ate from the Tree of Knowledge. They feared of nudity of God.

Originally we were suppose to not be ashamed of being nude in from of each other hence, The Garden of Eden. But when Adam disobeyed God, God lifted the veil from Adam and Eve's eyes and they were ashamed and tried to cover themselves with leaves and bushes. So from that day on we were ashamed to show our bodies and began to cover ourselves.
