If you want to go to celebrate the 4th. Washington DC at the Washington Monument. They have a spectacular show. Of course that is just one of many, but if you want to go far away...you will have to catch the red eye to fly there.

Well here in my hometown we have what's called "Set the Night to Music" which is held at the airport with the local radio station. They have the most amazing fireworks show set to the music that they play on the radio.

I enjoy that with my children who always bake me a cake to take with us (with sparklers in it..lol!) because the 4th of July is also my birthday (actually I was one of a set of twins born on the 4th so my mother - God rest- always use to say that we gave her the best fireworks she ever saw after 36 hrs of labor..lol!!)

we go to Bluebird park over in Manchester...they have a vendor there who sells the best shish-kabobs...I mean mouth-watering fantastic shish-kabobs....
